"I began this project with a nylon band supporting the bow with a safety line to the fore cleat. However, the wait of four to five hours for the barrier coats to cure, before being able to move the band, was a bit much so I needed another, more permanent solution as this will not be the last time I'll do this: I rigged one line to the fore cleat, one line to the forestay shackle and a third through the bow eye to control the bow. I installed two 5/16" Stainless Steel "U" Bolts in the side, about midway of the cockpit, with a stainless Steel flat bar imbedded with epoxy in the hull to top joint. I then ran lines to these and to the aft cleats. After adjusting the lines to make the boat level I lifted away. Each day after the bottom paint cured, I lowered her back to the trailer to clear the Yacht Club boat lift. This project, as you can see in the photos, was done when very little traffic was around to use the lift.
Sweet Dream has received five coats of Interlux 2000E and two coats of Interlux Ultra".
