Dropped the centerplate and had it sandblasted and epoxy sprayed by a local shop. Filled the eroded areas with thickened epoxy and faired it by sanding. Painted with Brightside primer and enamel, then reinstalled it. Replaced the small shackle on the plate with a new shackle, and cut the control line back several inches and reattached it to the shackle.
