We spent our summer on an extended 3 month cruise among the Gulf and San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest based out of Sydney on Vancouver Island. This trip we discovered what worked well and what needed improvement. Specifically, the galley we had was woefully inadequate. So after our excursion, I came home and gutted what I had put in previous years from short term daysailing to something that I feel will work much better in the future. We plan on returning to the same area again next spring for our third trip there as the sailing experience has been a lot of fun. And, after 30 years in northern latitude bug season, not having them ....priceless.
