Dennis Detloff, Dinky's new handler, says... "I've looked at other makes of boats (over the last four years) but I never really considered anything but a Monty. However they are hard to find, especially in good condition. When I spoke with Randy he didn't do Dinky justice, then when I saw her it took me about 30 seconds to realize she is as near new as one could find. I consider myself quite fortunate. A little clean up, a few minor fixes and she will be pristine".

The photos of this album are provided by prior owner, Randy Graves. Randy recently bought an M-17 and passed along Dinky to her new owners Dennis & Karen Detloff of Southern Oregon. The Detloff's will continue to garage Dinky when shes not out sailing like she's been used to for the past 12 years she was owned by Randy. Dinky was named when Randy and his daughters picked her up. When the girls saw her for the first time, they said in unison... "What a Dinky Boat" that was back in 1993 and the name stuck.
